Ground Blind construction

Here is the house that I built and put 30 feet up in my tree that I hunt from. It is 4' x 4 ', I ripped 2x4s in half to use as the wall studs. I made the floor joist of 2x6s and boarding it over with tounge and groove boards for strenght. I let the walls go down over the outside of the floor a few inches to keep it water tight. I made it prefab, all the walls screwed down to the floor and each wall screwed together so I could take it apart, I had to haul it up the tree like this, floor first then each wall then the roof. I didn't have any plans, I just built it as I went along. The windows are a bit bigger than the opening so they cover the opening when shut and are on hinges and strings to rise them. Good luck.

i got some remesh, construction wire you put into concrete. about 100 bucks for a roll of 100 foot. cut off 25 foot and make it in a circle, about 8' diameter. you can cover the walls with burlap or plastic, or you can interveave corn or local trees/vegetation in the wires. the wires are about 6" squares. a wire cutter or hack saw will easily cut shooting holes. they worked for me for lots of years, and look just like a round hay bale on it's side. and they are cheap, easy to set up, and portable.

Made some similar to this with wire and canvas. Works very well on grown up fence rows.
