PriceRacing35
So I like living in the country and being able to watch the deer. Over the past few years I've watched fawns grow up. And new ones born. There's one very elusive 12 pt running around, I'm guessing he just has a big home range due to the houses. But tonight I come home. And see a sapling in the driveway that didn't look quite right. One of the few bucks had been around lol. Good sign that the primary rut is over. Zizzer59
Yep, I've been seeing large groups of does the past couple of days. Looks like the primary rut is over here in SW MO
PriceRacing35
the buck came to me this time Yeah I noticed that Saturday. Fawns back with does was the biggest clue.
hoytshooter09
I'm just south of kc and went out Saturday and the scrapes weren't hit at all but I did get a decent 7 pt to come running to me rattlin one of my favorite times to rattle is now right after the main part of the rut. PriceRacing35
the buck came to me this time I found some scrapes. 3-5 that had been cleaned up in a 20 yard area. Just where I had noticed does bedding every morning and afternoon. It was an extremely worn fence crossing just inside the timber. If I wasn't coming down with bronchitis. I'd probably head out there this weekend. But. I doubt I'll be able. I get pneumonia way too much for not even being 25 yet.
