Guest IADEERDUDE
yeah... i personally think anytime you put a new piece of equipment on you should always retune cause something is always going to change a little..so i wouldnt call it aggravation more like preventitive measures
robk
Re: trophy taker drop rest well they are okay but i am mirage drop away person but yes it is a good thing to try a drop away rest. they do have their advantages and will show you that in the end. just make sure to take your time in setting them up and go for it rob k
Tony
Re: trophy taker drop rest how can a Trophy Taker drop away rest be noisy ? mine makes no noise at all.. i have a pad on the rear of my riser to allow it to come down with no noise at all... great choice on this rest .. i have been shooting one on both my competition bow and hunting bow for 4 years now and it just a great rest... it will not only make you get great arrow flight but it will make you bow more forgiving...i noticed a huge differnce in my broadhead arrow flight the first time i put one on.... MCH
Re: trophy taker drop rest I've been using a Bodoodle for the past couple of years. Just recently, I've been experiencing tuning problems with the speed fins. I'm seriously thinking about changing to the Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter. Tony, when talking about target shooting, is there a disadvantage to going with the Shakey Hunter as opposed to the Original? I will be getting a micro-adjustable version of the two. huntinsonovagun
Re: trophy taker drop rest MCH- I honestly don't know if there's a difference when shooting, but I can cant my bow WAY farther than I would ever dream of in a stand and the arrow WON'T fall off, that is WITH the ORIGINAL arm. Only thing I recommend if you do get a TT.....go buy yourself a NAP arrow holder thingy.....TT's is crap. NAP makes one that is big and rubber, well worth the $7. Chrud
Re: trophy taker drop rest Mine made a little noise, but not bad. A quick fix would be to buy one of those LimbSaver strips and cut a small piece of it and place that under the prongs. Not sure if I'm going to use one this time around or not. I really like the looks of the Schaffer MAT-1 and the '05 Mathews Micro Rest. The Switchback I shot had the Schaffer and it is a really nice rest.
