bowhunter97
Just got it yesterday. Year 2000, single cab, chevy s10 4x4. It needs some work but it only had 123xxx miles on it and it was a good price to we got it. It drives fine but i think the fuel pump is goin and it rusted a little in the cab corners due to it previously being from minnesota but all in all its a good solid truck. Looks good, drives good so im happy happy happy. This wasnt a christmas present either it just worked out that we got it now. So along with getting the highest grade on the construction midterm in the school i have had a pretty good week. LETMGROW
Why do you think the fuel pump is going bad? Only a fuel pressure test will tell you for sure. If you do replace the pump don't buy the cheapest one you can find. Go with original equipment. These are available through an AC Delco outlet or NAPA in their Delphi line. The wire harness to the pump will have to be changed to adapt the new design regardless of what brand pump you buy. A problem area on this vehicle is wire harness grounds. You will need a wiring diagram to find them all. If the grounds aren't clean and tight you will get low voltage to the pump and the new pump will fail in a short time. Very common on any S-10 or T-10 pickup or Blazer model. Good Luck and enjoy the new truck, Lynn
bowhunter97
Its got sluggish acceleration but i'll try and check the grounds on it. If not i'll take it to our mechanic so he can go through it.

Trevor
Congrats on the new truck. Looks like a nice one. Living in the north we always look for vehicles from the south and you live in the south and bought a truck from the north. Lol Good luck with the truck.
