wtnhunt
Not 100 percent sure, but thinking it probably is. Watched this buck for nearly 10 minutes a couple weeks ago and let him walk. Got a real good look at him. Trail cam pic from August Reason for asking, the deer in the August trail cam pics was the deer running with the buck I was after this year. Every time we got pics of one the other was also there.
PotashRLS
Looks like it could be. They lose a lot of inches from velvet to hard antler. It is amazing how "absolute monsters" become average once they shed their velvet.
wtnhunt
Figure the deer I was after is probably gone, but may give some hope with seeing his buddy show back up more than 3 months since the last pic I had of him. Only reason I think he even came out in the field was because ice and limbs were crashing down in the woods. Here is one of his buddy(a monster for this area), the one I was after. Last pic I got of those two was August 24th. This pic was August 11th, deer may have added a little before being done, anyone wanna guess on score? fly
looks like hes missing a left brow? I'd say high 130's.
wtnhunt
looks like hes missing a left brow? I'd say high 130's. Yep left brow missing, he is a 7. We had probably 100 pics of that deer between July and August. I was figuring him to be in the mid to upper 120's. That was the buck I thought I was shooting back at our closing day of ml'er. Rhino
Hate he disappeared on ya William. Hope he shows up late next summer & fall in front of your trail cams again. I still think he's mid 130's too.
wtnhunt
Hate he disappeared on ya William. Hope he shows up late next summer & fall in front of your trail cams again. I still think he's mid 130's too. That would be nice Al. Maybe he made it. I do think the smaller 7 is the same deer he was running with. When I saw that 7 he was a little busted up so he might have gotten his butt kicked by his buddy.
bowhunter97
I'd say mid 130s and it looks like the same deer to me
dbHunterNY
it's possible it's the same deer. we've had a couple deer the looked really close but yea. I'm with the others thinking mid-130's for the last buck. doesn't look overly mature so he may blow up even more being not 6.5 yrs old. it'll be nice to see him show up on trail cam this coming summer.
