wtnhunt
Gonna be pretty rotten here this next week. Snow coming down pretty good right now. One day next week high temp is supposed to only get to 20 and low temp around 4, our heat will no doubt be running the aux heat strips driving up our electric. Wish I had a fireplace or stove in already, on the list of future projects.
MUDRUNNER
Supposed to be a high of 1 here on Monday. Apparently it's the coldest weather we've had in about 15 years. We've had a few snow showers this winter....mostly 4 or 5 inches each time and it only sticks around for a few days. It could be worse. Where I used to live in Minnesota the high is supposed to be -10 and windy on Monday.
Rhino
Will even get a little chilly down here in MS Monday with a low of 19. Could be worse though. My buddy along with his youngest son & a couple of his buddies are headed to MO Saturday to attempt to bowhunt. High Sunday...7 with a low of -11 & a 14 mph wind. High Monday...-3 with a low of -9 & a 21mph wind. High Tuesday...9 with a low of 4 but the wind dies down to 12mph. Then it starts to warm up Wednesday with a high of 20 & a chance of snow. Glad it's them & not me!
Ravin R10 man
Rhino, that is tough with a wind, even at those temps...clothes become "crunchy" when you draw... even fleese....VERY tough to get to full draw, unless wind or deer make noise to cover you up..I love hunting cold, it's just an hour, maybe 1.5 ... before dark and you gotta get down
dbHunterNY
yup it seems you guys get pounded with the cold and then it crosses across the lakes and NY gets hammered with snow. not dropping below zero here except the will chills. tomorrow is the coldest at 1 with a will chill in the negative teens. Maine Hntr
Woke up in Maine yesterday morning to -12 degrees without windchill, definitely chilly and the wood and pellet stoves don't stop running, back home in mass now and it's a balmy 20 degrees with a nor'easter on it's way for tonight... It's winter and New England so I'm used to it and enjoy each of the seasons here.
wtnhunt
Wind chills Sunday are supposed to be around -9, with wintry mix turning to snow. Looks like Monday may be the coldest day of the year. Actual temp only supposed to get to 18 according to accuweather and the low now at 2. Supposed to have n nw winds at 10mph, windchills will be below zero.

The Bug House
Yup, full steam ahead here as well. Another 12"-14" today and tonight on top of the 1'-2' snowpack down already. Been a few below zero every morning for the past several days. Fri supposed to be -2 for a high and -25 forecast for Fri night!
dbHunterNY
haven't plowed the driveway yet this week. I hate to start and use the tractor in temps this cold. tonight it's -12 without windchill. it's lots of wear and tear on the equipment. tomorrow it's supposed to get back up above zero so i'll probably do it then.
