wtnhunt
Confused. Pics of deer? Don't usually have deer yard up here like they do up north. They will regroup some though.

wtnhunt
OK, now I can see a second pic I did not see when I looked earlier. Yeah Martin, guess that might make the deer vacate the area.

I got all my trails plowed so the deer can make a run for it, and they have had time to make packed runs..so a single will run them around, but tough to kill unless they jump off into deep snow

Ravin R10 man
sss, and drown the collars My brother pulled a good joke on the staff at Brule DNR office. he went in to check on a timber sale he had won on bid....but he asked the receptionist in a very loud "hear it all over the building" voice...This is well before a wolf season was even discussed up here....."What am I suppose to do with the Wolf Coluors I have collected after I shoot them?" He said you could hear guys running from the offices like rats on a feeding frenzy!

A local farmer I know who doesn't have time to hunt the coyotes killing his calves found a poisoned roadkill deer is very effective. It's a little indisciminate but effective.
