Turkey Gun of Choice

this one below so far.... it's a Benelli Supernova 12ga with comfortech stock. the stock tames the recoil and it's never had a problem cycling a load being it's a pump. right now it's outfitted like the bottom picture. Burris Speed Bead red dot for adjusting POI with different turkey loads and helping not miss those very close shots. the slogan ultraflex sling is guaranteed for life and makes carrying the 12ga while running and gunning much easier. I've used lots of different choke and load combos that work well. still fiddling but...

Well Dan, I went and bought the Benelli Super Black Eagle 2 this weekend, 26" barrel length in the Realtree APG Camo. More than I anticipated spending at first but I spoke with a bunch of people on the guns and did quite a bit of online research and checked reviews and it just seems like everyone who's shooting them really enjoys them and finds them reliable. I also found that the inertia system is simpler, more reliable in weather conditions and much easier to clean because the fowling is contained to the barrel mostly. Supposedly the Benelli comfortech compensates for the bigger kick from the inertia system..

Anyways, I had to order it and it should be in within a week or so. I plan on Turkey hunting, doing a little skeet shooting and the 1 or 2 times a year I get out to pheasant hunt I'll probably use it then too.

The one I found was in Mossy Oak.

I bought mine three years ago and have used it for everything from squirrel to deer. She is well used and I'm thinking of getting it dipped again but haven't fully decided in what pattern. If you already picked it up. Please post a pick of it. I would like to see how it looks.

some on here have them. they're a great dependable gun. I went with a Benelli pump instead because I didn't want to spend semi-auto kind of money. you should talk with Al (Rhino) he's hammered lots of turkeys with his Benelli SBE II.

I didn't know that, I don't have it yet but expect the call anyday now to let me know it's in. Super stoked for the new toy, hope to put it to good use this spring!
