Ohiobucks
Treehouse Masters on the Discovery Channel? Pretty entertaining, at least to my youngest son and I. Pete has a very contagious personality... http://animal.discovery.com/tv-shows/treehouse-masters
wtnhunt
Yep. Seen it several times. Kids watched an episode earlier today of one in Texas. My 12 year old told me I needed to build then one like it.
dbHunterNY
I've been aware it's out but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

Not sure my bank account could manage that one...
RangerClay
Yup! We watch every now and then. The kids really enjoy it.
redkneck
Yeah that's a cool show, I've seen it a few times. I don't understand though how you build a free standing structure that happens to have a tree through the middle of it and call it a tree house. But I guess when they've spent six figures they can call it whatever they want lol.
Tominator
Katie enjoys it. I watched an episode, the guy made a pretty big blunder during the show. End product looked pretty cool. Amazing view the girl had after her room was complete.

Never saw what the price of that one was, but yeah a 200 amp service and tiled luxury shower kinda over the top?

There was a footnote mentioning that over 170 people have used it since it was built to when the show aired, with several hundred on the waiting list. Rhino
Watched a couple of the re-runs last night. First time I'd seen one of the shows. Without a doubt, Pete has a great feel for visualizing the final product. They do an amazing job. The ones I saw weren't really free standing. They were attached to the trees. I noticed during the beginning of the shows one of the 1st questions answered was how much the client was wiling to spend. Pretty expensive treehouses unless you were prepared to live in it full time. Kind of makes you think what it would be like to build one for deer hunting. Pretty easy to hunt all day out of one of those and even spend the evening in it so you wouldn't have to worry about busting deer getting to your stand. Nut
Saw it a few times. They had a show up near you Tom around Loundonville I think. The treehouse had a beer making kit put in it.

Haven't seen that one yet Fred, Loudonville is only about 45 minutes from me, and beer is good... :-)
wtnhunt
May have seen the one Fred is talking about. Not sure where it was at but saw one where they put a beer brewing setup in a treehouse.
