redkneck
I'll be in northern Michigan next month, hope I get to go, last March was too warm when I was up there, maybe I'll get lucky and get out this year.
Maine Hntr
I typically get out a couple times a year, last couple years been tough, seem to get real cold followed by 4 or 5 days in the 40's and 50's and it just ruins the ice... I go out to western mass usually where the ice thickness doesn't come and go as easily.

Ravin R10 man
nice perch & northern bug! Andy went out for northerns this a.m., was going to go with him, but outdoor furnace had an infeed problem . Got up at 2 a.m. and furnace blowing cold air!!! Turns out my top feed auger had a blockage where it drops off into the firebox feed auger...cleaned out the hopper and took off the side panel to access the drop tube...tapped it with a hammer, and whatever was in there let loose and top auger kicked back in and after two hours outside in zero weather..hand feeding the firebox, we started back to normal temp. Glad it was ok when I was gone on my fishing trip.. Edited January 26, 2014 by Mathews XT Man
