wtnhunt
Pulled cams last week and had pics of at least 5 different bucks that made it through. One looks to have pretty nice potential for next year. Will try to get a few loaded and posted. Anyone else with seasons over seeing bucks that made it? Maine Hntr
that's great William, I pulled my cameras out of the woods at new years, don't really know what may have made it and what didn't, i'll put them back out in april/may to try and start catching them growing bone. ilhnter
We are still running our cams and we pulled the cards last week and had 4 shooters and several up and comers make it through. I'm already looking forward to next season, should have some good ones.
hoosierhunter
I've got plenty of deer still running around, but nothing to trip my trigger. A bunch if 2.5 years olds and maybe to underachieving 3.5 year olds. Next year might be very thin for me.
MUDRUNNER
I had my camera out for two weeks and didn't get a single picture of a deer. Things are going to be slow around here for the next few years.
woolybear
Normaly I don't get many pics of post season winter bucks, but this year I've got quite a few still hanging around. Mostly yearlings, but that's cool with me. I think they may have gotten snowed in back in December when we got burried under 4ft of snow, and they never got the chance to leave like they usually do. I got pics of one antlered deer that is still in velvet as of the 2'nd week of January. I'm hoping to find those fuzzy antlers once we melt out a bit. Only one other buck really worth mentioning is a nice 10pt I call "Tubby", but I already picked up one of his horns!
Ravin R10 man
Actually had three different 8 pts that showed well after gun season....where they hid out I do not know...we have some hope of seeing bucks for bow season 2014..IF the wolves do not get them first. Rhino
Sure...got some after the MO gun season closed. We didn't work the cams like we were earlier in the season and preseason though. Still got one cam running in MO we forgot to pull so who knows what's on it. We were also seeing survivors after the gun season closed. Some of those bucks had never stepped in front of a cam. wtnhunt
Used to always leave my cams running year round. Down to only two working cams at this point so figured I would just pull them. Don't usually get too many pics of bucks post season anyway, so was surprised to say the least to see some that made it through hanging around. I put the one back out where the most buck activity came from.
Stinger-Hunter
I would be paranoid that someone would grab those cameras
