Yep...I am. Why? The best organization by far that fights to protect and preserve our 2nd amendment rights.

Really just a curiosity question Rhino, I just recently joined myself. I think sometimes hunters, particularly guys who mainly bowhunt might not follow the gun control debates and laws as close as others, I myself think I was one of those, at the end of the day we're all part of the same family and most our views are similar so I thought of trying to bring awareness or attention to it might get people thinking.

I was very disappointed with how the nra borderline harassed me to renew even after explaining to them, got several phone calls and at the worst possible times.

Understand William. That's just one of the reasons I love caller ID on my land line. If I don't want to take the call or don't recognize the number...I don't answer it. If it's important, they can leave a message. I don't give my cell phone number out to any place that would potentially call me for reasons like that.

I am a annual member for 25+ years and thinking about making the jump to lifetime.

They are relentless with mailings asking for $$$, but, no phone calls. I send my designated amount each year and sometimes more if important legislation is looming. They should stick to gun right ONLY and stay out of other issues.

I have been for a long time now. 10+ years I guess. A gun club I joined a few years back requires NRA membership. I would think that Hunters in gun control states like IL and NY really see the need for the NRA and are strong supporters. I have a NRA sticker on my truck and my FB avatar had the NRA logo for several months.

I have been for 40+ years. The reason? I firmly believe that were it not for the NRA (the largest lobby in Washington) we would not have the gun rights (or hunting) that we have today. Anyone who engages in the shooting sports, or owns a firearm for legitimate reasons, should be stepping forward to continue the fight against anti-gun/anti-hunting proponents. Yes, the NRA continually asks for money, but unfortunately it takes money to fight the fight. If you can not afford to give, just a polite "sorry I can't at this time" will end a call. If you value your rights you should at least be a member and be in contact with your government representatives. Those who are members are carrying the weight of those who are not. A little help protecting our freedoms would be appreciated.

I am in full agreement.
