redkneck
Yeah I can believe it. Been in northern Michigan then Chicago all week, stuff is piled up everywhere! Warmed up Thursday and you needed an ark in Chicago with the melt.
Fawn09
Michigan has been getting crazy amounts of snow lately!
Ultradog
Here too! Got another 9 or 10 inches yesterday. I gotta put in a plug for the snow plow crews here in the Twin Cities. They've done a tremendous job keeping our streets and highways open this year.

colorado bob
I bet you all will have a bad winter for the deer herd.
Ravin R10 man
If the deer are not near standing corn, a logging job or being fed, they will be in trouble now. Plus with all the snow, easy pickings for the wolves
Adjam5
If the deer are not near standing corn, a logging job or being fed, they will be in trouble now. Plus with all the snow, easy pickings for the wolves And the coyotes.... Snow is crazy deep and nothing but downed branches for deer to nibble on. We cannot feed here in NYS
dbHunterNY
Most of the snow I pile next to the garage because I couldn't push the banks back anymore. I had to lift the back blade all the way up and literally back up the pile of snow to make it take up less space. it was over 7' tall and consuming the space I had left. I'm glad it warmed up a little and rained for a while the other day. some of it melted which is good.
Tominator
We luckily got a good thaw in the last few days. The drifts on either side of my driveway were approaching 3 feet, which is a little too much for my little 18 hp tractor and grader blade. stevebeilgard
and lets not forget that march provides the most snow, usually. i'm in a wyoming storm right now.
PotashRLS
Ya and single digit highs most of this week. Lows approaching -15 again too. Winter severity index is at or near 100 now and we have all of March to go. Records are being broke this week and this will likely go down as the worst winter on record here. Winter kill deer and turkeys are beginning to be reported. I am worried about the two 5 1/2 year old bucks who survived our deer season. It would suck if mother nature takes em. Ravin R10 man
I have found three dead so far.. a lot of the deer migrated over to my neighbors yards where they are getting fed, since last weeks storm, not seeing too many coming back. Deer also stopped feeding out in field now. Going to keep my trails open so deer can get away from wolves best they can..only singles have shown up, not seeing much for cyotes, think wolves have them killed or run off. we are close to if not into a severe winter here index wise. Shaun_300
Wow that's pretty crazy! Looks like our 2008 winter when we had 14 feet of snow dumped on us that year. We have quite a bit this year but not nearly that much.
Ravin R10 man
weather station near here must have an Obamma temp sensor; it says -10 Feels like 0 How does that work?
