He put the smack down on a jake this morning. He was happy to get a Easter bird. Now it's the waiting game till 4th season starting Thursday! Very nice bird and very nice photos. That gun sure does look pretty. The Indian Creek choke tube and the Hevi Blend work wonders for any gun. Had a Jake come in to my decoy field. 8 yards..... kicked the crap out of DSD jake decoy for 15 minutes. Fun to watch. Hunt or be Hunted Posted April 26, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2014 Headed home to clean up a bit! We got 2 more hunts. 2 guy's have shot a bird so far. One of them weighed 20 pounds. Had a 10 1/2 inch beard. 2nd one was a 23 pound bird with a 9 1/2 inch beard. I've had a lot of close calls. Buddy I'm hunting with moved and busted us this morning. Fixing to head back!
