Watched 3 of them mousing around the edge of the corn field during yesterdays hike. This guy finally worked his way over towards me and gave me a few shots! I've probably seen less than a handful of greys here... maybe 3 in the last 20yrs, and those were all spotted in fields while driving down the road. The reds are really common. I've got 3 active dens within a 1/2hr hike of home. I'll be checking up on them closer to May when the pups (kits) start poking their heads out. The yote population is pretty high from what I see on trail cams, but I rarely see them in person.
