Turkeygirl
Wonder if anyone has used these are their ATV or UTV? Was wondering if I could use them on my JD Gator... http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=1770585&type=product&MDK=dynbanP_NWb&MDC=cat104751180 Decent price don't need anything fancy, just get the job done
wtnhunt
Looks like that just goes in your hitch receiver if you have one. Dunno Ruth, might call cabelas and ask them if it works with your gator. We used some atv implements in the past, some work ok, and some are just too light duty to really do what you need them to do. Depends on what implements imo. Jd should make some implements or a mount, bet the price is higher though.
Ravin R10 man
it should work as long as you get the right size receiver mount. https://www.google.com/search?q=UTV+food+plot+implements&espv=210&es_sm=93&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=RBE4U66lBI_xqQGdwYDwAw&ved=0CHMQsAQ&biw=1093&bih=515 http://www.greatdayinc.com/plotpro.htm Edited March 30, 2014 by Mathews XT Man

Turkeygirl
The Gator already has a 2" receiver mount, front and back.

Keep in mind, you may have to remove your tail gate with some implements. About the only thing we use on a UTV is a seed spreader (tailgate has to be on & down for it). The shank was the right length for our Polaris UTV's but we had to cut a few inches off to use it on the Kubuta UTV. We have used a harrow on occasion too on ground already broken. Problem with pulling the small disc they sell for ATV's/UTV's is there really isn't enough weight for the disc to break the ground right. Turkeygirl
Good input. Yeah this disc I was looking at, suppose to be able to apply some downforce with the lift. I'm figuring this pulled by the Gator would be easier than walking the hand tiller way out in the field...
Tominator
Hand tilling anything over about 500 sq. ft. and you'll want to kill yourself by the end of the day.

Turkeygirl
Ordered from Cabelas yesterday the disc and the hitch. Emailed the maker and they said should work well with it so we shall see. Will let you all know how it does. Going to pick up my food plot seed today.
