philray
I am new to turkey hunting and will be going out this Saturday. Is it necessary to brush in a turkey blind like you would a deer blind? I am hunting on public land, so I would be setting it up and taking it down the same day. VermontHunter
I personally don't believe you need to and I NEVER have. dogdoc
I usually just hunker next to a tree. Just got to be real still--they can pick up movement in a heart beat. I never brush anything up while turkey hunting but I am covered in camo from head to toe. todd
hoytshooter09
I have put a blind in the middle of a field with no brush or cover around it at all the deer wouldn't stop starring but the turkeys never glanced at it once.
dbHunterNY
most of the time you don't need to but it definitely doesn't hurt
hoosierhunter
I've shot multiple birds by popping the blind up in the middle of bean stubble and putting two decoys at 7 yards.
