redkneck
Riding the atv last night and this thing got in my ear and started to bore his way to the other side. It was intense, ear bleeding, I was screaming. Made it to the camp and ended up spraying raid in my ear and still took him a few minutes to die. I have insurance so that means I hate the er lol, went this morning to after hour clinic and flushed it out. It's slightly smaller than a young crow or at least it felt like that lol

dbHunterNY
That sounds like bad news. Can't say I've ever heard someone spray raid in their ear but can't say I wouldn't do the same thing.
wtnhunt
Do not get one of these in your ear Have had a few bugs fly in my ears while mowing, can be kinda uncomfortable. Can't say as though i ever thought of using raid as a remedy.
redkneck
I've had plenty of bugs fly in my ear while outside. They are a nuisance no doubt. But this beetle what's the same size as my ear canal he was trapped in his only way out was to push forward and try to eat through my eardrum. I was about ready to pop him with a 22. Maine Hntr
The ear can definitely be uncomfortable with anything in it or any kind of blockage, can't imagine a bug that big in it
wtnhunt
Do not get one of these in your ear Usually have more trouble with gnats than anything here. Bad about getting in your eyes especially when mowing. Worst in my ear was probably a deer fly and it bit before i could get it out.
woolybear
Haha- RAID..?....sissy! Real rednecks use gas and a match for all their exterminating needs. Then you gotta duct tape the sucker in there after you light the fuse to make sure he suffers!
redkneck
Lol Matt. In all honesty I've had bad ear pains from diving, but one of the worst pains in my life was changing a fuel filter on a truck. I didn't relive the pressure and when I pulled the clip on the filter on the frame rail it dumped gas in my face. I turned my head and gas poured in my ear. The pain of gasoline on the eardrum is unreal. I can't explain why but I promise it's intense. Last night if I only would have had gas I would have poured it freely in my ear. It was that bad.
