Turkeygirl
Got 50 lb of Buck Forage Oats for $32, will plant this prob. late summer. Then 50 lb of Buck Chew for $46 (small grains, clover, ryegrass mix) and 20 lbs of Game Bird Buffet - various grain species, 3-5 foot height, want to plant closer to road to block people's view. Just waiting on the disc to come

wtnhunt
Let us know how that barrier works out for you Ruth. I need to plant something here along some edges to make for easier sneaking in to stands.

hoosierhunter
Let us know how that barrier works out for you Ruth. I need to plant something here along some edges to make for easier sneaking in to stands. You need to buy Egyptian wheat. Typically a 3-5 foot high barrier won't work given how trucks sit off the ground. EW grows around 10 feet tall and is an annual. You plant at the same time as corn. Turkeygirl
don't think I've ever heard of that or seen it around but sounds awesome as a barrier!
Ravin R10 man
alot of people here will plant an offset two rows of spruce along the road, that ends it, but a bit of a wait for them to get high enough, about 5 to 6 years from what I've seen.
