redkneck
Yeah I'll second that hope our Arkansas members are safe. Rolling into ms now for two days and supposed to be bad. Two confirmed tornadoes already that I've heard of.

wtnhunt
Hunker Down Everyone stay safe. Sad to hear news of lives lost with yesterdays storms, and this isn't done. Fairly calm here right now, but sun keeps peaking out, hopefully won't warm up.
Rhino
It was real bad in MS...still is! Tupelo got hit bad in NE MS earlier today. We had 2 tornadoes pass through near me about an hour or so ago. One passed through about 10 miles S of my house. Lost power for a little while. The other was further N with light damage. Early reports of the closest one to me doesn't sound good. Appears we'll hear more about a lot of damage in the main part of the city of Brandon and in Florence to the SW tomorrow. They're reporting another tornado further S of me now.

redkneck
Fine here, not sure what the damage will be when everything is said and done later today, sure was a lot of storms over a long range last night. Hope there weren't too many fatalities, I've heard of seven so far, just in this state.
Rhino
So far...so good here. Got a lot of heavy rains & wind but the tornadoes have missed me so far. Looks like we're in for round 2 later today though.
wtnhunt
Hunker Down Some high winds and heavy rain here but no significant damage. Unconfirmed tornado north of us. Get our networks on satellite from Memphis, they have had a bit of coverage of the Tupelo damage, looks pretty bad.
Rhino
Yep...Tupelo was hit pretty bad but the only fatality there was from a car wreck south of the city. They've restricted access to the worst damaged areas near me. The worst tornado near me basically went through a populated area along I-20 south of me. It hit Florence, Pearl, Brandon, & possibly an area on the south side of Jackson. I'm on the extreme north side of Brandon and fortunately I was out of harms way yesterday evening. Trevor
Saw the news reports tonight and wow I can't believe all the destruction those storms can cause. Hope everybody down south stays safe.
redkneck
This one was in Louisville about 50 miles north of me. 9 lost their lives and 7 still missing in this one little town. Amazing footage as the storm crosses the road in front of the dashcam. Very sad. Another took the roofs off houses just about a mile south of here but luckily never really touched down.
