pointing_dogs_rule
Last day of the season here in Iowa. My friend went out this Sunday morning and bagged this nice bird. He took his bow and gun along. He just "nicked" the tom with his arrow as the tom strutted around the jake decoy. The tom became "mad" in that he thought the jake had just attacked him. He said that it was really cool looking. With the first miss with the arrow (and it being the last day), he picked up the 20 gauge. I have seen some multi-beards, however, I can not remember any bird having 5 & the beards being so long. Total... 36 7/8 inches, 22 lbs 4 oz. and 1 inch spurs. Congrats, Joe!!! 116 total score. good luck to all the dog
