Ravin R10 man
I am seeing more "near Head-Ons" from IDIOTS who cant pass farm equipment without any oncoming traffic. They don't slow down, or they pass us when we come to a mail box, (that's when we have to hold over into, OR over center line)...or we take out the box with the wide equipment if we don't. If they pass us at that point, we nearly take them out too, of course we are then told "WHO" is number one! several time this spring, I have seen oncoming traffic hit the shoulder to avoid a head-on.:chair::hammer1::bang::stretcher:
dbHunterNY
Yea no good. I've seen it a lot on the family farm. People have no patience. We get problems with loaded hay wagons and round bale wagons. Drivers can't see around to pass but they swerve out anyway on a hope and a prayer. Our road trips with equipment aren't more than minutes long too.

Trevor
Drivers just don't respect the size of farm equipment on the road. There was a very tragic accident here on mothers day where a women pull out in front of a terra-gator which struck the car and killed a 9 year old girl. Just a very sad story. wtnhunt
That time of the year. Told our oldest to be extremely careful on the backroads out here, a lot of heavy equipment traffic this time of year. A lot of curvy roads and most equipment they move around here they DO NOT use any trucks ahead of them to warn oncoming traffic. I came around a curve last week myself to have a spray rig coming at me on both sides of the road. He had no where to go and neither did i. Luckily i was slowed down enough, had gotten behind 2 tractors just 5 minutes prior, so kind of had a feeling there would be more.
