wtnhunt
Seems the media has pretty high expectations for these two. Hearing their names thrown around more and more and even some hypothetical predictions. A bit far off for that yet. Just my opinion but Hillary should not even be elligible. After all, if her health is so frail she cannot testify on controversial issues, she should not be in charge of this country. Would seem anyone should be able to beat her, granted they do not have their own excessive baggage. On to Christie, is he the best the gop can really do. Have they learned nothing? While i think he probably could beat Hillary,i dont know, i never believed the people of this country would put a community organizer with no experience in the highest office in the world either. Christies loud mouth in your face attitude is without a doubt something that could be a potential turn off to voters on both sides, could be a disaster or could catapult him. Probably a little early for predictions, but what other names out there have any significance? Bobby Jindahl? Rand Paul? Others? Is the tea party movement and the Eric Cantor loss a sign of more to come?

Gator
I think the people that voted to put Barry in were reall that well informed on what he really stood for, and are part of the "entitlement" nation. Anymore, we the "common" folks are outnumbered by these voters, hence the outcome of the election. Don't really know what needs to happen to get America back to where it belongs, but if SHE get's elected, we will continue down the path we are on. redkneck
Well Obama came out of the blue and pretty much ended Hillary's chances I think when she lost that last primary. She's always been teflon coated but after all the crap she's been in as sec of state I think plus her age I think she's finally become damaged goods even for her own base. But....... I agree with you William, just when you think you got a beatable opponent, leave it to the republicans to front some idiot with even more baggage lol. I like Jindal also. Any nation that will elect obama TWICE will elect hillary. Take that to the bank. .............. just when you think you got a beatable opponent, leave it to the republicans to front some idiot with even more baggage Spot on. The republicans generally have NO clue as to how to pick an electable candidate and run a campaign. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if they tried running John McCain or Bob Dole again in 2016. I like Jindal also. From what I see of him I like his politics. But put him on the Dole, McCain, Romney list of electability IMHO.
RangerClay
Unfortunately, unless the GOP gets their head out of their a$$es Hillary will be our next President. That of which I have no doubt. I see the same thing right here in my own district. We have a young fresh face here running for the 21st Congressional district. Look up Elise Stafanik, a 30 year old conservative with fresh ideas. So many of us are so excited for her. Unfortunately the Old Guard GOP wants nothing to do with her and have been trying to sabotage her campaign since day one. They put up another guy who was a 3 time loser with baggage and he lost in the primary. Now the local GOP is reluctant to jump on board with Elise. The GOP are going to blow the best chance we have ever had to win back the 21st. I'm so mad I could scream.

That of which I have no doubt. Yep, afraid you are probably right Joe, however in hypotheticals last word was Romney as a 2016 candidate handily beats Hillary. Dunno how they are figuring that? Surely Romney will not be the nominee again. Jeb Bush is rumored to be exploring the possibility and Rand Paul will be in.
MUDRUNNER
IMO the Republican party needs a fresh face. They should be grooming somebody right now for the next presidential election, much like the dems did with Obama. The problem is the only names popping up are the same old names we've been hearing for years. If they end up throwing the same old- same old candidate out there I'm afraid they are going to miss their chance. I agree with you guys....a nation that would elect Obama to two terms will jump at the chance to put Hillary in the head office.
wtnhunt
Romney says he is out. He is supposedly meeting with Christie. Jeb Bush is exploring, expect him to run, another on the list that highly unlikely to be able to win.

Ravin R10 man
This country need a NEW Face..... Ben Carson Scott Walker prob wont get the Union vote, but it did not stop him from winning the recall vote.
wtnhunt
Hope i am wrong but afraid the trump factor is gonna lead way to a hitlery presidency. Absolutely disgusting the circus he is making of this election cycle. Any gop candidate should have handily beat hitlery, the constant infighting no doubt will be a turn off not to mention giving doubt to potential voters. Ravin R10 man
Rubio isnt helping things with his rant, and losing in Florida his home state will take him out. CIRCUS was exactly what last debate was, I had to walk away. Christie getting behind Trump is big...this snowball is just beginning to roll I didnt care for Regan at first either.."what kind of President can an ACTOR be"? we KNOW what a "Community Organizer" got us we put the right people in the right positions..".HEY"! as uncle Si would say... just sayin Edited February 27, 2016 by Mathews XT Man
wtnhunt
Trump is a fair actor, comparing him to Reagan is comparing apples to oranges. Afraid he will be the nominee though. I said it before and will say it again, unfortunately this will keep the majority of conservative voters sitting at home in November. Sure trump will pick up some dems and his current supporters, whether that is enough to beat Hitlary, i dunno. trump is the lesser of evils but don't think i could vote for him. He is a bigger liar than he accuses his opponents of being. Maybe a little hypocritical?

Current polling has trump even losing in some states that have always gone to republicans. Sad sad situation we are in.
