Great trip! Pictures from Great Tetons here and Yellowstone in the next thread. I took over a thousand pictures so selecting a few of the best was tough.

Thanks William. Yes sir Bob, the one and only lake trout I have ever caught. Same for my son. We bakes them with lemon later that evening.

before wolves, there used to be 14-18,000 elk on the refuge from jackson north to moran jumction. and, you CAN legally hunt in grand teton national park. you must, of courst, get a license for that area which is usually not that much trouble.

I heard that Steve, we drove through the refuge many times and did not see any elk at all. Seemed odd to me as I expected to see cows with calf's in the lower meadows.
