MUDRUNNER
So who does everybody have for their cell phone service and what do you think of it? Work pays for my phone, so I'm stuck with a slide phone until they decide I need a smart phone. We are probably the only people on the planet that don't have a smart phone yet lol. My wife has the same phone that I do, but she is wanting to upgrade to a smart phone. Her service is through Verizon, and they don't really have the greatest plans for only a single line. My older kids are 10 & 7, and they are not allowed to have a phone for a few more years so we don't need a bunch of lines. ( It seems like a rip-off to me to pay so much for a plan when 90% of the time we are at home or work where wi-fi is free. Our graphics designer at work pays like $220 for 4 lines...I have better things to spend my money on. End rant.) Anyways, I was particularly wondering about T-Mobile. They have pretty reasonable plans that offer lower data usage, which shouldn't be a problem. Also they don't have overage charges. I don't personally know anybody that has them though. Seems like most people around here have Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T.
hoytshooter09
If not very many people around you don't have tmobile it might be cause there coverage in that area isn't as good one thing with tmobile they don't have contracts any more so you eventually pay full price foe there phone which can be around $600 up front the phone can be free but they add 20 dollars a month to your bill till u pay the phone off. Sprint has the best overall single line plan IMO $80 unlimited everything hard to beat. I have Verizon just cuz they have the best coverage in my area. wtnhunt
We were with at&t for years, got to be ridiculous for a singleline. Walmart family plan since last fall. Three lines less than a hundred dollars unlimited talk and text. Costs $10 to add data per line. We do not have data on any lines but don't really need it. Smart phones all let us use wifi, on my phone right now. Sure don't need data while driving.

pointing_dogs_rule
Work pays for mine so I don't worry all that much about price. With that stated I often travel out to Wyoming and other western states to hunt. VERIZON has the best coverage out west of any of the carriers that that means anything to you. good luck to all the dog
MUDRUNNER
My service through work is Verizon, and while the coverage is good around here, when I go to the farm I get no signal at all for about a 5 or 6 mile area. All my buddies that have other carriers can sit in the stand and text back & forth, but I got nothing. I always have to borrow one of their phones or drive for 10 minutes to get a signal so I can call in my deer or call home. The only thing that I like about T Mobile is there is no overage charge....once the data is used up it just goes from 4G to 2G. I may have her check into the walmart plan also.
