NHOUTLAW
Been looking around for a auto loader for this years duck season. Came across the beretta a300. Seems like a good gun for the money. Anyone have it or tryed it out?
hoosierhunter
I would recommend looking at a store get M3500. It's in the same price range and it's an inertia drive system. It's a stripped down Benelli Vinci basically. If your not familiar with this system over gas ports check it out. The theory is less time spent to clean the weapon and less jamming. I've hunted with a Vinci and it didn't shoulder well for me. Remington's Versa Max is my personal favorite that I've used in the field. Good luck with your choice. dogdoc
I have shot plenty of shotguns and now I don't think I will ever own another one after purchasing a Benelli M3. Doesn't shoot 3 1/2 though but I have decided that 3 1/2 inchers are not worth the pain they inflict on my shoulder. You are going to get lots of opinions. Just find a gun that fits you well and read the reviews. todd
Maine Hntr
I just bought a benelli super black eagle 2 last spring primarily for turkey hunting and love it, you'll drop some cash though. Like Hoosier said this gun is inertia driven, I did a lot of research on gas vs. Inertia and got a lot of opinions, at the end of the day I really liked how the benelli shouldered and how light it was. I shouldered almost all comparable guns and there are definitely a lot of nice guns out right now and its really a matter or preference and how much you want to spend. Good luck. I was looking at the Beretta guns too but just didn't like the one I shouldered as much as the benelli.

Jeramie
That is a good gun.... Nothing wrong with it. There seems to be a host of Mid-level guns like the Franchi Infinity that are affordable yet performers. It really does come down to shouldering a gun and seeing how it swings. You didnt go wrong as long as it fits you. The A300 is a good seller for a reason. They seem to be decent guns for the price.
