hoytman62
Seems like when I am aiming at the target, I have a hard time keeping my sight pin on the target (bulls eye). Seems like it floats all over and I can't keep it still. Any suggestions on the right way to aim and if you do have float when you aim? The right procedure? Thanks! hoosierhunter
When I draw I take a deep breath and slowly exhale as I raise the pin into my target. I've found by coming down I tend to drop my arm too much. Once I'm in my area I try to stop and release the shot. There is only a split second where I'm "anchored" on my area. I'd also recommend using a .019 pin or smaller. The big pins tend to cover the target area too much for me. You will never be able to hold dead nuts in the target. There will always be movement, it's just about controlling that movement and staying steady. After the shot hold your pin on the target until you hear the arrow hit. This prevents peaking after the arrow is released.

dbHunterNY
Good advice given. Is only add to make sure you keep a good pull with your shoulders once at full draw. Most bows now will allow you to let up once it's back. Less you're pulling back against the bow the more your pin will float. Don't aim and hold for more than 5 seconds if you can either. Make sure you bend at the waist and not move your bow arm to move your pin. If you do move your arm it will cause your form to collapse a little which will have the same effect.
