hoytshooter09
I have been a royals fan my whole life first time I have seen baseball for my team in October and there making it exciting would love to see another I 70 series
fly
Yep- glad to see the Royals doing so well. Can't believe the Royals got their broom out last night and that the Giants could sweep the Nationals tonight.
MUDRUNNER
That was an unbelievable game Friday night for the Redbirds. Their lack of consistent offense still worries me in this series. Poor lance Lynn just doesn't get squat for run support. Hopefully the Cards can finish it off at home. I'm growing to dislike the Dodgers quite a bit. I can't stand Puig or Adrian Gonzalez. It was great to see the Royals win a series...been a long time coming for their fans.
MCH
Huge Dodgers fan for the past 30 years. Have always liked the Cards but I'm becoming like you Mudrunner. Can't stand them. Can't stand Molina. But I really hate the Giants, so if the Cards beat us, I'll be rooting for them unless the Nats pull off the comeback. fly
I don't know how the Cards keep beating Kershaw but I certainly hope they can keep the mojo going against the Giants! So odd that the playoff scenario includes the Dodgers first followed by the Giants - just like last year. Last year we were one game from taking the Giants. Hopefully they can pull it out this year! Since I consider hunting a sport and CA has some of the worst restrictions against hunting; lately I have lost interest in any sports from the state. Same thing with my home state of IL and why Im not a Cubs or White Sox fan.

LOL I figured if you seen my post about the Dodgers you would chime in. It does seem to be building a bit of a rivalry between the two teams. I don't know where all this power had been all season for the Cards. I would have never thought they would hit so many dingers in the series. He is without a doubt, in my opinion, the best pitcher in the game and he seems to be genuine as well.
MUDRUNNER
I'll agree with that. I do think Kershaw is a bit better than Wano, but his playoff record is awful for some reason.
Tominator
Cards are my #3 team behind the Tribe, and Reds. My first bat my dad bought me was a Ken Boyer signature model and I've liked them ever since. That town knows how to run a ball club. fly
I was down in KY (Eddyville) and everyone down there are Cards fans too. Pretty cool to have such a following 2 states away. Rosenthal neat blew it last night. The power that was gone all season showed up to save the day. Looking like an I-70 series more and more each day. MUDRUNNER
Man, every time they bring in Rosey to close a game i get nervous. At minimum he gives up a walk and a single every game he pitches in.
MUDRUNNER
Tragic loss for the Cards over the weekend. Right fielder Oscar Tavarez was killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic.
