double a
well this is going to be my wifes first ever deer hunt. I put up a ground blind for her to hunt out off and got everything set up. I was in the blind the other day so tht I now wat kind of deer are moving around her spot so at least I know she will get a shot at something. well the ground blind has been put up since the first week of October. its in the woods and I brushed it up the best I could in which I did a really good job on the front and the two sides didn't do a good job on the backside were I get in at. but anyways like I said I was in the blind last week and put up her scrape dripper and made a few other mock scrapes cause I know there are big deer in there I am setting on the side of a thicket. I was hunting like I said and out of no were a deer blows and blows for like two minutes right behind but she came to the front of the blind and I seen her and she kept blowing she leaves and about 15mins later I hit the grunt call just to let them think there is another deer over here. well 30 mins later 3 more does came out from my right side out of the thicket and they didn't do nothing. do u all think that it messed up her spot or its just that the deer wasn't use to the blind yet and everything will be alright. I am leaving it alone till opening day of gun season any ways cause that's wat she is hunting with lever action 44 mag. the other three does didn't blow or nothing but like I said the front and the sides are brushed in great the back is not. but my hunting clothes I leave them outside in my scent free bags and then I put them in a scent free tote. I don't think it was cause of scent. but do u all think it messed up the deer hunt for her or just stay out of it and pop in there on gun season. thanks any advice is greatly appreciated
wtnhunt
If the deer couldn't see you then it probably was scent. Was the wind blowing to her? If not maybe she saw you move. Doubt it is messed up for the season. I have been busted in a stand and killed a deer from that stand that same day.
hoosierhunter
When you get busted by a doe she needs to be a dead doe!
