hoytman62
I have found a pretty good place to hunt. I have does and bucks both traveling two runways as they say. I can't seem to get them in closer for a bow shot. Any suggestions? As you know I'm new at this only hunting 2 years with a bow. How do you descent your bow or do you? If you spray it, it would leave white stuff all over it. Thanks for your help!
hoytshooter09
I never use scent spray on my bow even if I did scent away doesn't leave anything after it dries. As far as the deer getting closer only way I see possible is for u to move your stand closer to the trail if there's no good stand tree consider a well brushed in blind. CowBoyMadNess
leave it outside!!!!!!!! where ur clothes should be to!
Ravin R10 man
Spray everything down...including washer & dryer before using them. Place clothes in a scent free bag until you go hunt.Get dressed outside away from any oders. Even then spray down. Sounds like you need to move closer to the trails.....deer use them because they feel safer traveling them. Not sure what situation is for treestand placement near them, groundblind will work with right wind and enough cover, give yourself a couple shooting windows/lanes Edited October 28, 2014 by Mathews XT Man
Tominator
Hunt closer to the runways? If you can see deer, and they're not blowing or alarming while you hunt, scent isn't your problem. Just set up closer to the trails.

It's not about trying to bring them closer to you...it's the other way around.
