Congratulations Frank...awesome trophy buck! You sure earned it too. Enjoyed the complete story...great to see a plan come together like that.

BTW...there could have been someone out there on a ladder scouting (like you were) watching your falling out routine...never know! :clown:

Thanks again everyone. While I didn't get my initial "falling out" sequence on camera - I did get the recovery. I had only seen the antlers sticking up out of the briars and had yet to walk up on him and see just how big he actually was. I'm still quite emotional. William tells me I can link it from Photobucket so that's my plan. It's not a video I show to everyone, only my brothers and sisters here at RT. I'll title it 12 Point Recovery if I can get it to work right.

Thanks Al' date=' I never should have posted that recovery video. LOL[/quote']

Nope, glad you did Frank enjoyed watching it. Honestly it is probably a good thing my wife did not record the recovery of my deer this year. lol.

It wasn't excessive, but I did get pretty excited when I saw the white belly and saw the antlers before I ever started down into the brush. Been 20 years since my first deer, (first ever deer was a 9 that I think is just shy of 130, I still have not killed a higher scoring deer or one with more typical points), to finally get a 10 with the way the hunt went with the ml'er yeah I was pretty excited.

Nice when a plan comes together, whether the deer reads the script or writes it.
