Tominator
My wife always says "but you get an extra hour of sleep..." and I always say, "unless you're a deer hunter." I generally do not like the time changes. In the fall, I lose an hour in the stand as the sun sets earlier, and I have to get up earlier in the morning to beat the sunrise. Jeramie
Yep... I cant stand time changes. Now it will be dark by the time I make it home to feed all of our critters, take the trash to the end of the drive, etc. Annoys me to to no end. As the old saying goes, only Government would think you can cut a foot off the end of a blanket and sew it to the other end to make the blanket longer. dogdoc
The extra hour of sleep is null and void as your internal alarm clock wakes u up and hour before you really need to get up. I usually get up around 4:00 am to shower and head out to the deer stand. Now it's 3am and much tougher on the body. In the evening you get home and it's dark and by 8:30 after being home just a couple of hours your body tells you it is time to go to bed. I hate the time change. My dad always told me they did it for the kids going to school so it would be light enough to get morning chores done and get to school??? Don't know if that is the reason or not but I sure wish we would do away with it. todd
