im your huckleberry
Sighted in at 100 yds, zeroed turrets. When I shoot for 200yds the bullet is on the ground about 25 yds short, anybody have an idea what's going on, I'm new to this ballistic turret thing is it something i'm doing wrong or do I need to use the vip warranty?? wtnhunt
Would probably not hurt to contact vortex. Don't know, no experience with ballistic turrets.
Strut10
Don't know what caliber you are shooting. But sighted in at 100 yards, virtually NO round should be hitting that low at 200 without even TOUCHING the turrets. Something is afoul. +1 on calling Vortex customer service ASAP

Strut10
Yeah. It should NOT be bouncing them in at 200. Call Vortex.
im your huckleberry
It turns out the young fellow that installed it over tighten it, and the retailer won't step up and give me a replacement I'm pissed to say the least. Phoned Vortex they will fix or replace it. By the time I get the scope back the season will be over I'm just going to use the b.d.c hopefully and maybe save the season if not no more money will be going in those doors from me .Crossing my fingers in hopes it will work, then replace it after the season ends. smha6784
retailer's rarely warranty or replace. so dont be too hard on them. i am surprised to hear that it will take that long for vortex to repair or replace.
