hangunnr
I'm a little suspicious of the age given me by the check station. I believe this deer was a couple years older. He had a huge neck and one of the thickest bodies I've ever seen. There was virtually no fat in the body cavity and very little on the body. I did recover the bullet, a first for me when using the Barnes TTSX. Pretty fair performance despite the rather moderate launch speed. Started out at 200gr with a poly tip, ended up 198.2 without the poly tip. Picture book stuff..... CR
wtnhunt
I'm a little suspicious of the age given me by the check station. I believe this deer was a couple years older I am not a biologist, but thought the deer looked older to me too. If you can get the jawbone the third tooth on the bottom jawbone of a 4.5 year old would have the cusps centered and still not too flat or worn. After 5 they start to get more smooth from the third tooth going back.
