KS turkey

Recommended Posts

Tim,

I called Adam. You are correct on the dates. He is duck hunting with Mark. Mark hunted with us, he's from Texas-----not a RT member but Adam worked him in. Anyway they were down on the river this AM & he said the turkeys were going crazy. They could see the birds pitch right off the roost. Mark is asking to hunt there--LOL.

He said deer season was great. Bob

Yea...just got off the phone with Adam. He said to bring our mud boots. Rain gear appears to be essential gear too. Glad I had my camo tree umbrellas and a rain suit here in Missouri. Also grabbed a strap on tree seat in case I need to sit tight in one spot for a while a little above wet ground. I'm going to try to arrive in KS ~1:30 Thursday afternoon. Only 6 1/2 hour drive from our place in MO compared to ~12 from home in MS. Looking forward to sitting at the killing tree where I killed both of my KS birds last year on consecutive mornings. Hope the creek crossing to get there isn't too deep.

See ya soon Bob.
