wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Honestly not got much experience with the 25 06 but i would probably give core lokts a try.

Strut10
Pretty much, any "over the counter" 100-120 grain load will work just fine on whitetail.
Shaun_300
I've tried basically all factory loads out of my .25-06 and honestly haven't found one it doesn't shoot well. It really likes the Hornady 117gr SST. It also likes the Remington core lokt 100gr. Picked up some Federal 117gr soft point and it also shot really tight groups. Pick up a few different brands and weights and see what your gun likes. Enjoy the new weapon!
abrown
Yes sir, we use them quite a bit around here. My wife has a Ruger #1 in 2506. I reload them, use the Hornady 117 Interlocks. I use a 270 w/140 interlock, and she drops them faster than I do. It is a really good round!!! I'd buy anther one if I ever come across a good deal.
