Ravin R10 man
My arm is jerking again..and it's going to be a warm weekend on Winnie, 4 a.m. will come early.. Jumbo Perch are biting like mad! Maybe pics to follow, if slash will post em... just got back.. Sun eve....Friday bite was good, we caught 87 perch 9 to 12 inch, (pic below),... sorted out alot of. fish under 9"....then fronts moved in and shut the bite right down, Sat we only got 40 keepers all day...we tossed lots back under 9 " very windy too, had to be in a shelter all day, no hole hopping..ice was 30" deep right to motor to punch through, I need to get an extension to keep water off motor... got water or moisture in my regulator from Friday, got out early Sat.,.. jiffy pro would not start.... we had another auger with with an extension, so we drilled with that one. 8" holes were tight with transducer, they got more tangles and lost fish than my 10" holes, only had to pull my transducer couple of times. RangerClay
Still waiting for ice here. I'm getting excited to get out. Conditions never allowed us to get on the ice last winter.
Shaun_300
Ice has been slow here, didn't freeze up until after New Years. Very warm December here. Heck there's usually 2-3 feet of ice on the lakes by now, don't even think there's 6 inches yet.

Ravin R10 man
We cancelled our Winnie trip last eve., Nodacs say ice is good, but with conditions being what they are here, we called it on the side of safety. Was also last minute cancellation that got us a chance to get a cabin. Some of our guys could not get Friday off that late in the week.
