NS whitetail
My son calls this corner of my basement " mancave " the hall of fame wall lol, a couple of those decoys are around 80 years old. We had a flood here back in October with about 8 inches of water in the entire basement. I had all the walls torn out two feet high off the floor and put back, I also got all new furniture and everything else that was destoryed was replaced .............. Thank God I had insurance coverage that covered it all, they told me I was up around $30,000 to do it all.
hoosierhunter
Very nice. I'd love to get a nice moose at some point in my hunting career!
wtnhunt
Looks good Lewis. Got to figure out flooring for what will end up being a game room in our basement.
fly
Looks like a great place to unwind. Funny you have a "Hall of Fame Room". Prior to 2006 I did not have a buck on the wall that scored over 100 inches. My cousin (and kids) made fun of me by calling my back room with the mounts the "Wall of Shame". Now in 2015 I have eight mounts scoring 120-170 inches with most in my front room. A couple years ago I asked him what he thought of my "Wall of Shame". He laughed and upgraded my front room to the "Hall of Fame".

Shaun_300
Very nice Lewis, yours looks great too fly! Sucks when that happens Lewis. At least your insurance company covered the damages. The same thing happened at my parents place a few years ago when the sump pump quit. What a mess! And a pain in the rear end to deal with. Insurance also covered it and did the same thing. Ripped out and replaced the drywall I think 18" from the floor. Everything that was damaged was replaced and redone.
Rhino
Nice mancave Lewis. You'd never know there was any water damage from the flood. Love the collection of decoys there too. My mancave is my den.
Ravin R10 man
Nice....still, I don't get why the basement has got to be the mancave area?.....nobody would ever see it down there.....of course that may be why we are put in the basement?... Living room is where mine is..LOL Edited January 14, 2015 by Mathews XT Man
The Bug House
My cave is in the unheated garage. Don't spend to much time in there during the winter. Great pics!
