Strut10 Posted January 15, 2015 Report Share Posted January 15, 2015 Well...................with the PA flintlock season closing last Saturday, the final tally of baldies taken with flint & coal on the Strut10 Ranch is 7. Two for me. Two for Uncle John. Two for my deer slaying buddy Carmen and one for my brother. All in less than a two week period. The neighbor boys said they were getting some pretty bad deer damage in their soybean fields. Said they'd like to have a few of the does knocked out. So we stacked 'em like cord wood for them. Would take a couple does for the freezer here, but our ratio seems to be pretty bad out of whack, seeing way more bucks than does. Liberal limits on does taking a toll.
