wtnhunt
... with some good potential. Cannot say I can recall ever seeing more than one 8 point make it through. Looks as though possibly 4 that made it through that are coming around. Had quite a few pics of this one over the time since our season opened, hard to tell at times if it was this one or the other in the "potential" thread. I saw the little 8 out ahead of this buck several times. Last time I saw the small 8 he still had both sides, missing his left side now. Think this one may end up a nicer buck than the other. Unfortunately the new neighbor is going to timber a good portion of the woods and pasture it. We had sole permission there for a long time and left it as a sanctuary. Hopefully that does not push the deer too far off.

RangerClay
He's an ok buck Don't listen to him. He's a stud, a nice 2.5 year old. If he can dodge the car and poachers for the next 10 months he should be a real dandy.
Rhino
Yep...he'll be one to look forward to catching on cams to see how much he's grown later this year and hunting him next year too. Got 4 cams running here in MS to see what's left with good potential for next year too.
wtnhunt
Yeah, this buck would be a wallhanger for most around here now. Got to realize this is a liberal unit, this area a 130 class buck is considered by most to be a monster, so this deer will be one to watch this upcoming season, IF he continues to stick around. fly
Looks like a 2.5 year old from the neck - and if so he'll get a lot bigger in 2 years! Doubt he'll get past next season though. Here are a few bucks I got pictures of earlier this month. Went to get last weeks pictures and the camera was stolen. 150 dollars gone. Bummer for sure but I knew the risks and I got 2 years out of it. I have the security code set so at least that will piss the thief off. wtnhunt
That really stinks about the camera getting stolen. Have locks on all mine, but a determined thief could get them. Is that a 990 moultrie Frank? That second buck has no neck, he may be over the hill next season.
fly
It is the one with No Glow William, I think it's the 990i but it was a Cabelas exclusive so it had some other number. The First buck is my favorite - I call him Turkey Fan because he fans out like a turkey (both G-2's have three points) and this is the only pic I have of him. I'll bet the thief has the rest - Grrrrrr. The second I call Right-Splitter. I have a lot of pics of him. Here is another. I think he's real old.
