465 pounds?

It's February and things are slow so I figured now to be a good time for this. Several years ago I was on an IL hunting forum and someone posted this picture indicating this buck weighed 465 pounds and scored 198 inches of antler. It was said that this wild deer died after getting caught in a cattle fence in central IL. It certainly looks real to me and the size is incredible (even if it isn't 465 pounds). What do you all think?

Looking from the computer, one thing that stands out to me is the wire going to what looks like a wound in the shoulder. Story may be questionable. Not sure what kind of wire that is, not barb wire and does not look like high tensile wire either so dunno how much truth there would be to the deer being tangled in it from a cattle farm, If it scores that high would there not be something on the deer on the b and c site? The shadows from the flash look consistent, leg, the gw's arm and the antlers. What is the gw doing with the corn cobb?

Deer has some serious mass with whatever the story may be. And if it is a chop job someone did a real good job.

The borealis subspecies range does extend to southern Illinois. Heaviest deer on record was with a dressed weight at over 400 lbs. Yeah, would take a loader to load something that big.

I didn't even identify it as a corn cob. I didn't know what it was or what the GW was doing with it. Maybe pushing down the lower lip to examine the teeth? I would think that the GW could be identified and asked about it, if one wanted to go to the trouble. Regarding the orange band - I have never seen one before. It may be something the GW uses for deer not harvested with a hunting tag? In IL deer antler tags are white with black or green letters. I know the farm I hunt on has a single wire cattle fence like that one. The farmer runs electricity through it.
