wtnhunt
Was looking at this series and at first thought it was strange the buck backed up. These are in order. Got to looking closer and thought it did not look like the same deer. See the second buck in this second pic? These two I initially thought were the same deer are not. Posted a few years back about potentially missing deer with cameras with settings delayed between triggers.
fly
Looks like the Left G-2 is broke at the same spot on both deer (if there are two)? I don't bet but if I did I'd put my money on the pics being of the same deer.
wtnhunt
No Frank, there are definitely two different deer. I did not see the second one at first but wondered why the deer went backwards. I will post the second pic with deer 2 circled, but will give others a chance to look first. Maybe someone will see it. fly
Yea, I've never seen a trail cam pic show a deer back up either. Either would be a rare thing to catch on camera but if your certain I'll buy it.
Ravin R10 man
4rth pic is diff. deer than prev. 3, unless Im seeing the ear tip as an anlter?
wtnhunt
See me now. lol. Different but similar buck. Look close you can make out the antler turned from the first pic. First buck we have a lot of pics of, seems he is often carrying his tail in that same postion.
wtnhunt
Few years back posted this thread http://forums.realtree.com/forum/other-topics/photography-video/104103-people-ask-about-trail-cam-settings about settings. For good reason I set my cams to trigger or fire as many shots as possible. With high capacity cards unless a situation like Al's where you are running cams out of state see no reason not to have cams set to trigger with the shortest delays. Ravin R10 man
sure you aint looking at a vine Will?, j/k... does appear to have eyes reflecting, but usually don't see that in daylight..don't know, did that one show up on following pics?..... maybe they are twins? In all the pics that "second" deer never moves a lick...that is weird..gut feeling it's not another deer..could be wrong? Remember,...it's just one Moron's opinion...lol Edited February 20, 2015 by Mathews XT Man
wtnhunt
Positive there is a second deer there circled Martin. Those 6 frames are between 8:44 and 8:45. Look close look at the right g-3. Got several pics of the first deer going back to November. Not sure about the other.
