I bet that stuff is getting real old for y'all.

Supposed to have freezing rain here tonight & then 100% chance of rain/snow in the forecast for Wed. Had freezing rain a few days ago too. This mess needs to end real soon. Spring turkey season opens in 19 days down here & with the sorry weather we've had this month it hasn't been worth it to even think about locating gobbling birds or scouting. Need some clear, calm, & cool days for the birds to gobble. Not the rainy, windy, and/or cold stuff we've had most of this month. Closest good gobbling day forecast is this Saturday...fingers crossed it's not real windy or the forecast is wrong.

Umm yeah, getting tired of it here too. November was colder than average, then December was about normal. January was not too bad, we do usually see our coldest weather January and early February. We have a good bit of ice here still from over a week ago. We did make it above freezing Saturday for about 12 hours. We hit the 50's Saturday and had flooding rains and dd not do much in the way of melting all the ice. I am going to have to get more hay the way things are going, hope I can find some.

Wife said she saw probably 50+birds on the river side of our property this morning, said they were gobbling their heads off. Not great, they will disappear in the bottoms once the water goes down. Dunno if I will even try spring turkey this year, but yeah it will be open here real soon too.

Ranger..lines here are at 8 foot...never had one freeze, but have had to dig down to patch a leak. I do not plow over my lines, I leave snow cover to help protect it.

I did discontinue the 60 year old failing(water logged prone) pressure tank in the Farmhouse basement,, and moved location, and installed a new one to our house basement.

I was like the guy from Christmas story fighting with the furnace!...lol
