NS whitetail
Yesterday morning I left Florida its was 70 degrees, I arrived at my home last evening at 8:30 pm to 23 degrees. This morning I was heading out on the Atlantic Ocean at 4 am to haul our lobster gear, it was 20 degrees not counting the windchill. This afternoon we had around 30 mph Northwest wind out there and it was cold ......................... that's what you call "back to reality" . I now have jet / boat lag lol. fly
Getting a change of scenery is great but I think Dorothy said it best - there's no place like home. Regardless of the weather. Hope you had a great trip

wtnhunt
Well Lewis fwiw I lived in central Florida for about 15 years, nice to visit but would never want to live there again, moved away from there in 92 and only been back a couple times. That said, yeah this winter hanging on this year is past the point of being old. Low 60's here right now but calling for more ice, sleet, freezing rain, and snow here tomorrow and temps not going to get warm enough to thaw things out for several days. I am supposed to haul hay Friday, used way more this year than last year, dunno how that is going to go with the roads. I have one bale left in the barn, better hope I can make it. We need a real good vacation, want to take the kids to Florida but gonna wait for our youngest to get a little bigger.
