Rhino Posted April 1, 2015 Report Share Posted April 1, 2015 Doesn't appear we're having one Martin. I haven't participated in a turkey contest the past 4 or 5 years. I certainly enjoy the deer contest and it's a simple submission process for contestants to enter their kills. The turkey contest just seemed too complicated IMO for some participants to submit all the required pics, etc. under the rules to enter their birds. I submitted my entries under the rules when I participated in turkey contest but I usually had teammates that, for whatever reason didn't. I opted just to focus on enjoying my spring turkey hunting and share my successful hunts in the turkey forum...some unsuccessful memorable hunts too. Hunt or be Hunted Posted April 3, 2015 Report Share Posted April 3, 2015 Yeah it seems you have to fill out a lot of paper work just to enter your bird. Me personally, never entered one. But I've seen the paper you have to fill out and then the pics to have to take ect. Just too much work imo.
