wtnhunt
Sad to here about loss of life. Been a lot of water this year. Not sure how the weather forecasters are figuring their drought data, but we are not by any means in drought conditions here. Should be one of the wettest May's on record from what we have seen here. Seems to be a cycle every 3 to 5 days here. Guess yesterdays storm was a remnant of what caused the flooding to the west that made it on the news. We been seeing flooding with extremely heavy rains, watched our pool water rise about 3 inches in less than 30 minutes yesterday, incredible how much water fell in such short time. Could only imagine if it continued how bad it would have been. Only good thing for us was that it did not last that long. I dragged the box blade over our drive over the weekend and fixed ruts, they are much worse now than they were from the last time. Gonna need another load of gravel soon. hogwild63
Not a lot of flooding north of Dallas where I am but there's more lightening and thunder in the distance headed this way. It's so wet I have not been able to hardly do any landscaping. Our lakes were so low last year and now they are creeping up into peoples yards and lake houses. hogwild63
Here's what I was talking about. Last year, we were on some strict water usage restrictions. What a difference a year makes.
Ravin R10 man
one extreme to the next, but then, the Bible warns us of Extreme weather becoming more frequent in the last days. Of course, that can be explained by "Global Warming',....... er Cooling:wacko: Edited June 1, 2015 by Mathews XT Man

Ravin R10 man
Silly me, and I thought God was in control! Mark 4:39-41 And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, "Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They became very much afraid and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?" Dawg
Lots of flooding still happening in areas south of dams in some areas. Luckily it didn't get that bad here in the Southeast part of the state.
