Rhino
You were up late planning Tim. I guess you have to start early working your fall plans into your schedule. A bit early for me to get too wrapped up in too much of the planning part. Started planning shortly after last season ended but mainly it picks up pace in a couple of weeks when we start running trail cams. Planning part is a lot of fun (and work), especially when we start seeing what a lot of our mature bucks are growing this year.
hoosierhunter
I'm pretty far past the overall planning portion. Now is more of a waiting game to develop the inventory once I fire cameras up later in July. Then the manual labor game begins with fall plots, stands, trails, etc.
Rhino
I'm pretty far past the overall planning portion. Same here Pat. Even picked out the trees for the new stand positions. Updated my 2015 stand position/status list and bought 4 more new hang-on stands to add to the stands we're moving in MO. Also did a little manipulation of stand position funnels dropping some trash trees, etc. to coax deer movement closer to a few bow stands in those funnels. Overall, that's the easy part. Now is more of a waiting game to develop the inventory once I fire cameras up later in July. Then the manual labor game begins with fall plots' date=' stands, trails, etc.[/quote'] Yep...that's where I'm at now too.
Ravin R10 man
Just hunt close to home, so planning is not a big part of the picture, other than hanging a stand set, or tweaking one. Game cams are going to tell me where we need to be.
