Shaun_300
Well I am quite surprised how many pics I'm getting already. Found a nice little spot where they cross. Gonna build a treestand this weekend I think and set it up in area. Should be a sweet hunting spot. Also learned that my camera does do video, I just wan't in right menu to set it to video. Might give that a shot tomorrow night when I check it. Anyway here's some of the better pics. I got 241 in total since Monday morning. Not really sure what that white thing is in the first 2 pics, kinda startled me when I first saw them LOL. Think it's a flying squirrel. wtnhunt
Good healthy fawns there, not seeing many of them here this year. Usually moths get in frames and make for some odd ufo's.
Shaun_300
Yeah they look very healthy William. I always see them in the field basically every night. They're constantly rip roarin' around like little calves. Pretty entertaining to watch.

Shaun_300
Wish I could do some doe patrol! Here in Ontario when you buy your deer licence it's automatically for an antlered deer only. You need to submit your licence in a lottery system and if you're successful it is good for either an antlered or antlerless deer. Each WMU has different percentages of applicants being successful for the antlerless draw. It varies year to year depending on surveys submitted to the MNR from the hunters. This area here at home is close to 100% I believe. But I apply for up at the hunt camp for my week of rifle hunting which is a different WMU, I think it's around 60-70%. Usually out of 8 guys submitting we usually get 4 or 5 antlerless tags. Party hunting is legal in ON so it doesn't matter who fills the antlerless tags. Just got them a corn/salt block for a treat, see how they'll like that! They sure liked those apples off the tree in the yard.
