But I'm telling ya what it has been so hot out this past week or two that I don't feel like doing a thing. I dread doing anything at all. Been pretty miserable this past week, was out in it too much over the weekend. I don't tolerate the heat as well as I used to. wtnhunt Posted July 29, 2015 Report Share Posted July 29, 2015 Yeah, I will complain. Sick of this heat, ready for cooler weather. Already this morning, walk out in it and stand and start sweating within minutes without even exerting any energy. Humidity here is always a factor, but been absolutely ridiculous the past couple weeks. Last week we were seeing real feel temps between 105 and 110 with temps in the upper 80's to low 90's. Today supposed to hit 99 for an actual temp, another heat warning and advisory for today, potentially see 115 heat index today. Humidity is keeping the grass damp well into the day too. Last time I mowed the yard, started at 4 in the afternoon and it was not dry, crazy. Guess a bright side to it, the pastures are in good shape and there should be plenty of hay this year. I'm now sick of it took one day of working outside in lol Got more things to do tomorrow to get caught up before I hopefully go back to work next week hoping to. Shaun_300 Posted July 31, 2015 Report Share Posted July 31, 2015 It was BRUTAL here yesterday too!! We hit 95 actual temp with a heat index of 108. Hottest I've seen it in a long time. Was still in the upper 80s today but nice breeze and not nearly as humid. Looks like we're heading back to 70s for highs starting on Saturday with lows in the upper 50s. That's more like it. LOL I assume she found it on there I'm not sure. But its a frame for the bed. Of course all we have to go off of is a picture. So I'm making it up as I go. Which is fine I can do that but normally its smaller things not something that takes a lot of time. But I think we figured it out so got a good plan. wtnhunt Posted August 1, 2015 Report Share Posted August 1, 2015 Umm yeah Cody, only 93 the other day and was not too bad, think we had a one day break where heat index barely made it over 100. Nice break from the over 115 heat indexes. 94 and heat index was only supposed to hit 103 today, a nice cool real feel right now of 97, but I am cooling off in the ac in the house. Had to work on fences this morning and do some work in the barn, was little to no breeze and it warmed up quick. Mowed the yard this afternoon after doing some work with the bigger tractor, told the wife I need a new tractor with cab ac, I cant handle this crap. Yeah cold front here too, lol. Just across the river in WV lol I was having to try and mow a couple times a week between the rain storms now I think I've mowed once in the past two and a half weeks. Slowed way down. Nice and cool I think I saw where we have a high of 69 today. Have the windows up and its nice. Kinda ruins my plans for this evening tho. Was going to have a fire and what not.
