If anyone is going to western KY or southern Indiana (near Evansville) to hunt this year we now have a place to stay!!!! I have been working with the management of the Ramada Inn in Henderson, KY in an attempt to get hunters a discounted rate. I am happy to say that after a few discussions with the hotel manager concerning the importance that deer hunting plays on not only population control but also wildlife conservation they quickly agreed to offer a discounted nightly rate to anyone in town to hunt. I FEEL LIKE WE AS THE HUNTING COMMUNITY NEED TO SUPPORT BUSINESSES THAT ARE GOING TO SUPPORT US, ESPECAILLY DURING THESE TIMES WHEN OUR HUNTING RIGHTS ARE UNDER ATTACK MORE AND MORE EACH DAY. The Ramada Inn in Henderson, KY is offering a 15% discount (making it $75 per night plus tax) for anyone in town to hunt. That is a huge savings and is quite a bit cheaper than any of the other comparable hotels in the area! Please keep in mind that you cannot get this discount online, you must call the hotel to book the room (270-826-6600) but simply inform them that you are in town to hunt and you want the special rate for hunters. Please support them and pay them back for supporting us. Long live the Brotherhood of the hunter!

Interesting. That is in the neighborhood of where I hunted opening weekend of ky and plan to return for 5 nights during the rut. I stayed in a hotel in a town southwest of there and plan to when I return(cheaper and closer to where I'm hunting), but if it doesn't work out for some reason I'll keep this in mind.
